I thought (oops) that we get this from Kirigami. Of course you know what
they say about assumptions... 

OK, this comes directly from QML. It's just a horizontal ListView where
each item is a ScrollView the size of a full page. So the distinction
between horizontal and vertical movement is somewhere in QML. I'll dig
through the documentation some more to see if there's anything we can tune
but I doubt it.
