I frequently get mails form this list sorted into Spam by GMail, too, from
various authors.
Currently residing in my spam folder:
- [Subsurface-iOS]: from Charles Feinberg
- Patch 01, 05, 06, 08, 09, 11 and 12 from Miika's set of patches
(interestingly, the other ones did not land in there)

The reason given is always the utterly useless "It's similar to messages that
were detected by our spam filters.".

Mails from various KDE mailing lists sometimes end up in spam for me, too,
though not as often as those from the subsurface list. The GMail spam filters
seem to be pretty bad on the false positives nowadays...

Cheers,
Thomas
