this looks nasty, and what is worse, the problem seems to be in code that I wrote. Seems like some memory corruption in conjunction with concurrency in image hashing.

Problem is, so far, I cannot reproduce this problem. But I will look into it.

There is probably no way to email me an xml file that demonstrates this problem?
