I'd say that the killer feature a Subsurface-mobile app with a planner
can provide is planning based on actual previous dives. None of the
other mobile planning apps can do that, because they can't integrate
with divecomputer data.

I'd go for putting it in the same app. It doesn't even need to be
enabled in the play-store version, or just hidden behind a <here be
dragons> setting.


( I actually did sketch out a planner app to, based on using subsurface
as a jni library and wrote the frontend in Android native java. The
problem was that code never made it of my laptop, and that drive died
last week. Dam you spinning rust )
