Well, it seems I get one minute longer dive if I dive within few minutes from a previous dive to 38 meters. And planning for 20 minutes at 40 meters. Sounds unbelievable short penalty from accummulated nitrogen, but indeed it looks like previous dives are taken into account, to some extent.
