It might be better if you download and run Subsurface's appimage - Just 
download it from the site 
<https://subsurface-divelog.org/downloads/Subsurface-4.5.6-x86_64.AppImage> 
and:|chmod +x Subsurface-4.5.6-x86_64.AppImage|
