Are you testing this by running Subsurface-mobile on your desktop
computer, or running it on Android?
For convenience reasons, Subsurface-mobile actually reads your Subsurface
preferences when run on the desktop (that way it picks up proxy settings,
for example, without needing a UI to set those). So that is NOT the same
as getting those preferences through cloud storage...
