Battery chemistry is tricky, and if you're on the edge, it can work some
times, and fail right after that.

The current draw from the bluetooth parts can cause it to fail
downloads, but work completely fine in regular operations.

I've especially seen these issues with 1.5V alkaline. I only use saft
18650 nowadays.
