the marble (map) replacement dilemma

As a user:

I would like to see OpenStreetMap. (Google/OSM map layers can be
configurable).

Map tiles could be used from Gnome Maps or Viking cache (if available).
It would reduce used disk space and offer offline maps (for already
cached tiles).

It would be OK for me, to have no map in Subsurface. If geo URI for
each location will be available, I can use external map application
(Viking or Gnome Maps).
