If you have never built anything from source on Linux, it may be a bit
frustrating, at first. So I recommend you to initially try the windows
binary.
Nevertheless, if you want to try to build on Linux, I recommend to
have an initial read of the related part of the manual.
In short, it explains how to get the sources and the dependencies. Once you
have it installed, if you want, I can guide you step by step in the build
process (it should be before Sunday, as next week I'll be in a trip).
