too be honest: Following your audio file is not easy for somebody not using a screenreader on a regular basis (without watching your screen at the same time). Is there any possibility to record a screen cast while you are using it? Doesn’t have to be that long, just to see a few examples.

I am on a Mac myself, so I cannot try your screen reader. Apple has their own thing here and I tried using Subsurface with it but even after following the tutorial it is nowhere near straight forward how to use it. So for me it’s very hard to tell if something is my inability to navigate the screen reader or a Subsurface problem.

In principle, Qt claims that it has accessibility features built into all their widgets (according to https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.10/accessible.html ). It’s probably just a matter of replacing some generic names (like “Split box”) with more descriptive ones.
