hi Willem,

32bit Linux and OSX is not that widely used anymore, so Qt are not
packaging binaries for them - more details here:

you can try the x86 installer mentioned there, but i don't think it
would install anything newer than 5.6:
http://download.qt.io/official_releases/online_installers/qt-unified-linux-x86-online.run.mirrorlist

Subsurface should build against 5.6, i think...

so 32bit Linux is still supported, except there might not be binaries
available and one would have to build Qt.
