Problem editing dates of manual dives on OSX (version 4.8.5)

When trying to edit the time and date of a manually entered dive in Subsurface 4.8.5 on a Mac, after editing the date and applying the changes, the date appeared as some random, different date in the dive list (the time would remain consistent). Sometimes it would appear as an earlier month, day, and year than the original date, and sometimes later. Editing the dive again to try to fix it would result in a different date appearing.

Since this was on my wife’s computer and I was looking for a quick fix, downgrading to 4.8.2 fixed the problem. I was able to replicate the problem on my own computer by installing 4.8.5 and starting Subsurface with a test user using the —user option. Creating a new dive dated Jan 26, 2019 and saving it created the dive correctly, but when editing the dive to change the date to Jan 27, 2019, the edited dive appeared with the date as Jan 24, 2019. Editing it again to Jan 27 resulted in a date of Jan 21, 2019 being save. I also observed that the date selection view using the arrows to move the month forward or backwards was not updating the calendar which might be related.
