Also note that it works if I put the compiled libssl path at the end of the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH like so
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/tmp/.mount_SubsurCt4MZJ/usr/lib/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:~/local/openssl/
/tmp/.mount_SubsurCt4MZJ/AppRun -v
