My first thought of course is "heck - is there an issue with the cloud storage that I haven't noticed?"

Typically what is helpful is the output of running Subsurface -v

So:

/path/Subsurface.app/Contents/MacOS/Subsurface -v 2>&1 | tee /tmp/combined.log

and send us that log file
