towards 4.9.7

Hi Everyone,

We have a number of important bug fixes in master and support for a couple of new dive computers since the 4.9.6 release.
Given that we should be able to merge the new filter system soon, I'd love to get a 4.9.7 release out before then.

What does this mean for you?

- if you are working on translations, please try to find time to make sure this is all up to date
- if you are currently working on a bug fix, please drop me a line and let me know so I can figure out if we should wait for that
- if you are involved in one of the libraries that we depend on - can you make sure we have the latest features / bug fixes?

But MOST IMPORTANTLY: please test the latest builds in https://subsurface-divelog.org/downloads/test <https://subsurface-divelog.org/downloads/test> as well as all the various Linux binaries (I just noticed that the downloads seem to be missing AppImages...)

One of my biggest challenges these days is finding the time to keep our infrastructure rolling - and often we find after a release that a specific binary is missing or broken or we are missing a new distro or... It would really help if you could spend the time NOW to make sure everything is where it is with the daily builds.

My hope is to get 4.9.7 out over the next week or two at the most. I will post a release announcement draft, push latest strings for translations, and do all the other things that I shouldn't forget to do, assuming I don't forget to do them :-)

Thanks to all of you for your continued support and help - I can barely do this WITH all of you, I certainly couldn't do it without you.

/D
