Problem with manual editing of dives

Hi,

I'm using the subsurface version 4.0.2 with Mac OSX 10.8.5. 
I created two dives manually. If I try to add a diving place to a dive, I can enter the name of the dive and the information, that I edited the dive appears. 

But when I click on "Save" the field "place" will not saved. 

Sadly I haven't any further knowledge in programing with qt. Is there any way to generate some helpful log files to help you to identify the problem?
