Sorry I sent the an incomplete email. I change the subject
Hi Miika,

Thank you for the reply but despite of the fact that everybody continue
repeating me that I can not delete a cylinder that is in use the logic
behind the cylinder is obscure to me.
I tried several times with no luck.

>From an end user POV:

I haven't single gas dives. Imagine I have a dive with D8,5 filled with
30/30 and Al40 with 100%.

#1 I download a dive and if I have no default bottle, that equipment tab is
not empty, it contains a unknown type bottle.
#2 I download a dive and if I have a default bottle, that equipment tab is
filled with that.

In the case #1 instead to modify the "unkonwn" cylinder, I add that two
cylinders: D8,5 & Al40.
After this I cannot delete anymore the "unknown" cylinder because it's in
use.
By who?
I tried to add a gas switch to 100% but it's not clear which gas I'm using
before the gas switch.
My logbook is full of dives with "unknown" bottles because I discovered the
default bottle after importing a lot of them.

Another strange point of the editing process is that whenever I click on
the left panels I get the "this dive is being edited" alert that is really
annoying. (I would like to select a field just for copy/paste reasons)
while if add a gas switch to the same dive there's no alert. But I'm
modifying that dive.

Davide

PS
If that beahviour is a bug I'll file a ticket to trac.
