First, sending email just to me is rarely a great idea, unless you have
a personal matter to discuss.

I wouldn't touch Ubuntu with a 20ft pole, so I'm not likely to be able
to help you. Maybe someone on the list knows? Most likely they'd like to
know which version of Ubuntu you are using.
