Thanks for the comprehensive list!

Palau was on our "short list" for a trip this or next year,
and now I think we should forget about the "westward" flight
options but rather fly "eastwards" from Europe. Something
like Frankfurt -> Seoul -> Palau would require only one stop
and seems to be serviced by reasonable airlines.
