What I was thinking of was for the user to be able to include a few more
parameters as columns in the list view. Then, just as you can sort on dive
number, depth, etc., you would be able to sort on DM or buddies or tags.
Perhaps the user would select the parameters to display as columns in the
list view by editing their subsurface preferences similar to selecting
display units, etc.

Actually its not a good idea if you have more than one buddy per dive.

Imaging filtering on depth or dive time or water temp. I could easily
imagine use cases for these. For me, I would like to sort or better filter
on buddies
