Yes but I considered this as a temporary status. I mean until I choose a
dive site or (in your workflow) until I add a new one. IMHO I will never
save a logbook with a dive without a dive site. The name I enter in the
location textfield is directly a divesite (if I do not add further info) or
it has a default auto generated name.

I agree with you to do not create trac tickets for workflow related
discussion.
Actually the whole feature it's so new that maybe we can discuss here
everything.

Reading your comments I realize that you implemented a completely
different  workflow from what we discussed months ago here hence I need to
understand the whole thing from scratch.

Last but not the least... Investigating on my duplicated dive sites I
discovered that Subsurface bite me. My file and my latest backup are
somehow corrupted. I did not realize working with dailies after the 4.4.1...
I need to adjust my logbook before I can make some useful test. Maybe I
will ask some help.
