Don't worry, if you think it may be interesting, I have an improved version
wich relays on libdivecomputer to parse the dive samples. Just would need
some time to align it with latest master.

BTW, as commented with Davide in this thread, I've been working a bit in a
parser for SmartTrak's  JET based files, also libdc based, and it's pretty
functional. But this work has a *big* drawback, it introduces a new
dependency   for  mdbtools, which in turn depends on libglib2 , so it would
need to add two new dependencies.

As said, if you think it can be interesting, just give me a little time and
I can send a patch.
