The edit box now works without the huge white panel :)
On hitting the Save button, it drops out of edit mode, but the keyboard stays on screen until hitting the back button. Is there a missing dismissal of the keyboard?
Other than the edit button response and the superfluous (for now) menu entries, this is pretty much complete as far as I can tell.
