[PATCH 1/2] QML UI: use Material default switches

We are looking at Material for ideas.
a) this will be both an Android and an iOS app
b) I simply disagree with several of their guidelines

One thing I think we need to decide is how strict we are supposed to follow
the Material guidelines.
In order to minimise any downstream cleanup.
