This is the moment where I admit that we never really had someone as a design lead and that the people who helped out with icons and some other assets were super-talented and motivated, but no one really was willing to take this to a more structured level.

Several of the divers on this list have done really cool work creating mock-ups that helped guide the developers, but those are fairly old (and mostly implemented at this point).

So... it's pretty much an open opportunity :-)

We have some limitations because of the toolkits that we use - I discussed this with Bryan at length this week in San Diego. The desktop UI is written in Qt (with one QML widget), the mobile UI is completely written in QML.

I am happy to answer any questions that you have!
